Being Woman
Dreaming Up the Gathering!
Each year a new committee (First Circle) is formed to hold the feminine energies for the next yearly gathering. This may come from women who have attended the gathering and have felt the call to step-up to the organising committee, or these women may simply have been drawn in energetically by their connections to women involved in Being Woman …
This is an extraordinary year for the First Circle. They invite the Being Woman … Elders and all interested women to “dream” together to access the theme of the next year’s gathering, and then as part of their commitment to the logistical organisation of the gathering, they commit to monthly inner work related to the theme.
The level at which they do their inner work reflects in the essence of the Being Woman… event for the following year. Each woman undergoes a journey into themselves, exploring the authentic relationship of what it means to be a woman, and then begins the process of weaving this into her self-expression to bring to the gathering for other women.
This manifests as the sacred space the gathering participants will step into as they embark on this weekend journey. The energetic commitment is to be open, to share and to shift that which stops them from fully embracing the archetypal energies of the Feminine leader.
We are creating something new here. It begins with ourselves, with each other and with Spirit.
The ebb and flow of the divine feminine is all powerful, especially when we allow her to carry us in her sacred waters through life. We have found that through clearing and resolving issues that we hold within us and with each other, we energetically clear the space and pave the way for every woman to experience Being Woman… in her own unique way.
We have used the words “Sacred” and “Spirit” here as these are the words we are most familiar with. Sacred space simply means a space that has been “held” with a loving intent, by us, the Committee, by our Elders, and by the whole of the Being Woman … community. We use the word “Spirit” to represent All That Is.
