For You
This is an event for women only – whether single or in a relationship. You must be over 18 to attend this event which is drug and alcohol free.
For Your Kids
Due to the nature of inner process work, children unfortunately cannot attend the event (breastfeeding babes in arms are an exception). Please arrange alternate child minding while you attend the event. And this gives you a ‘mini break’ from the kids too!
For Your Nourishment
Yes. All meals are vegetarian and deliciously prepared with love and care. Please advise Nivannii of any special dietary needs you may have when you register.
For Your Participation
Do you have to participate in workshops? Simply put, no, the workshops are optional and YOU decide which if any, you’d like to participate in. However, we invite you to challenge yourself and any feelings of resistance you may have around inner work, and know that you are so abundantly supported in this environment and to take this opportunity to delve into yourself in a safe and sacred space. Time out is often needed when you are facing difficult issues, and Ewen Maddock Dam has trees you can relax under, a stream where you can have a swim, or you can chill out with other and weave a basket.
.
How to get there?

Hi!
I just discovered this and feel an intensely strong call to be there. I am checking out possibilities. Which airport is nearest?
In excitement and wonder,
Donnabear
Hi Donna, the closest international airport is Brisbane, which is an hour and a half drive away.. There’ll be plenty of people coming from Brisbane though, so we could easily organise a lift..
The closest domestic airport is Maroochydore – I’m pretty sure! Still about an hour’s drive away.
If you’re a Facebook user, please join our Being Woman group – search for ‘Being Woman Gathering 2012′.
I will be coming from the US and I just did a search on Travelocity and entered Gold Coast airport ( as a guess )and the flight was $2177!!!!! does that sound reasonable? Do you have any tips for cheaper flights? I have never traveled so I am clueless.
Thanks!
Donnabear
I enquired in the ‘Being Woman Gathering 2012′ Facebook group (which I highly recommend you join if you haven’t already) for some help with this, and a reply came from Amrita below:
“To the woman who contacted you….. It is by far better to arrive at Brisbane airport. It takes much more air traffic and offers cheaper flights…. That price is quite high for the time of year and you could shop around and get a much better cost. I think VIRGIN travel to the States and back and as I am not sure where you live I don’t know if that would work for you.”
I am feeling the calling and working on creating the possibility for attending along with my younger sister. Please email me registration details.
With love and light
Trish

Trish, 5pm is fine. Going from past years, dinner is usually around 6pm and then the opening ceremony is after dinner, so you won’t miss anything. Enjoy
